Our reader contract
Independent guidance for decisions that deserve time.
Wealthy Widow exists to help widowed women organize complex decisions without fear, sales pressure, or false urgency.
What we publish
Our articles turn primary government and regulator material into practical checklists, decision maps, and questions to take to a qualified adviser. We distinguish a deadline from a recommendation and a general rule from an exception.
How we source
Every guide lists at least two editorial sources. We favor agencies, statutes, regulators, official program manuals, and recognized nonprofit standards. Commercial explainers may help us find an issue, but they do not replace the primary rule.
What we do not do
We do not provide individualized legal, tax, investment, insurance, medical, or benefits advice. We do not sell leads, accept paid rankings, or receive compensation for recommending a financial product.
Corrections and review
Material updates receive a visible review date. If you find an error, email editor@wealthywidow.com with the article title, disputed statement, and a supporting source.
